We are a female-owned mural company proudly based in South Carolina, serving clients across the low country and nationwide. Specializing in commercial murals, residential murals, and hand-painted branding and signage, we bring creativity, professional craftsmanship, and personality to every space we touch.
Our team is dedicated to turning your unique vision into a vibrant reality. As a high-volume, client-focused mural studio, we thrive on collaboration, delivering large-scale, impactful art that tells your story — whether it’s on a storefront, an office wall, or a cozy corner of your home. We’ve painted for Amazon, Lexus, MUSC, Tito’s, Tanger Outlets, and Habitat for Humanity, and we bring that same level of polish to every client, big or small. Let’s bring your walls to life!
the founders behind girls who paint murals.
Girls Who Paint Murals was built on a friendship before it was ever built on a business plan. Alli and Christine each ran their own mural businesses in Charleston and Columbia until they met via Instagram in 2021, through a shared professor from UofSC. What started as swapping advice turned into a true collaboration, kicked off by their first mural together for the Boys and Girls Club of Hilton Head.
By 2022-23 they’d merged their companies to form Girls Who Paint Murals, growing their team to take on bigger projects without losing the hands on care they started with. Since then, the growth hasn’t slowed. In 2024 they painted their first murals in California, New York, Wisconsin, and Philadelphia, and in 2025 they’ve added Colorado and Texas to the list while launching their own mural festival, MELT Charleston, bringing the mural community they love right back home.

CO-Owner/Director of business administration
Allison Amory
Allison is a South Carolina-based mural artist originally from North Myrtle Beach and now living and working in Charleston. She holds a B.A. in Studio Art from Coastal Carolina University and an M.F.A. in Studio Art from the University of South Carolina. Allison manages new client booking and handles GWP business administration.
Co-owner/director of project management
Christine Crawford
Christine is a South Carolina mural artist born and raised in Columbia, where she still lives and works today. She earned her B.A. in Marketing from Coastal Carolina University and later pursued graphic design courses at the University of South Carolina. Christine handles all things project management- from team management to material procurement.

Krystal Sanchez
Krtystal is a South Carolina based window-painter and muralist, living in Myrtle Beach, SC. Krystal joined the GWP team in 2024 as a painting assistant and has since become a lead artist on the team.
gwp team graphic designer
Chelsea Burkett
Chelsea is a South Carolina based graphic designer who focuses her work on brands that resonate with her- preferring to work with the outdoor adventurer, the slow-crafted maker, and the bold and earthy. Chelsea has joined the GWP team as a contracted mural designer after working with the GWP on its branding.
